I’m Michael, founder of Skizi, the travel company built for people who love the mountains but hate the hassle of planning. I’ve skied nearly every major resort in Colorado, Utah, Tahoe, Canada, and the East Coast, and I know the difference between a trip that’s “fine” and one you’ll talk about for years.
At Skizi, we take care of the details. Lodging, lifts, transport so you can focus on the fun. We know what it’s like to spend hours comparing options, worrying if you picked the right place, or trying to coordinate a group. That’s why we handle it all.

I fell in love with skiing at age 10, the first time I strapped a snowboard to my feet and slid down a small mountain in North Carolina. I had no idea then that much steeper slopes and much deeper snow were in my future. Over the years, I worked my way from nearly every East Coast ski hill through the steeps of Colorado, Utah, Canada, California, and beyond.
Growing up on the East Coast meant every great ski day required a trip, so I got good at planning them. I became the go-to trip planner for family and friends, discovering I loved helping them create their most memorable mountain vacations.
Before long, I was organizing everything from family weekends to group adventures for churches and businesses. In 2023, I turned that passion into the Skizi Travel Co. built on a mission to help people experience the mountains at their absolute best.
Now based near Lake Tahoe, I make ski travel simple. From the first ideas of a trip to the last run, I handle the details so you can focus on the fun. As Skizi grows and partners with more resorts, hotels, and tour operators, my goal stays the same: make unforgettable mountain trips accessible to every snow lover, and help you create the kind of memories you’ll talk about for years.
